We got him down to 4% on first attempt, and we couldn't get him down on 2nd attempt either due to the internet connection of our starbucks crew (good portion of our healers) which dropped.

Maybe they want to post the story about how they got a new internet connection here too, but anyways, as requested, this is how far we got him before stage 2 started, with this raid (http://tera.teralink.com/dakor/dka?raid=20050528_Ragnaros&time=16:43). Pretty neat to see the rogues sprinting:

Here's a repost:

Falkorn, Elsington, Levidian, and I were all connected on my cable connection this afternoon during the Ragnaros / MC raid. There was a city-wide broadband outage which occured right after our first attempt on Ragnaros... we didn't know what to do with ourselves...

First off, we called our good buddy and RL friend Twilithar so he could communicate with Azayia. We waited around for about 30 minutes before deciding to take action on the matter.

I live about 10 minutes from my school, Indiana University. It is rated one of the most wired / wireless campuses in the world. Most indoor / outdoor areas of this massive campus have wireless access... jackpot indeed.

We drove to the nearest building, the Main Library, and set up shop in the lower Cafe area (sorry, it wasn't Starbucks... you have to PAY for that internet!).

(Captain doesn't like cameras. Let's pretend he is flipping off Ragnaros!)

Sorry for the problems our sudden dissapearance caused... we weren't too happy about it :hmm:

Have a nice weekend :)

The patch cable shared connection through a VPN'd wireless connection is a bitch, by the way.

Setting up a VPN connection on the university campus is a job in itself :o
