I'm selling my 3 month old laptop, if anyone is in the market for a nice laptop I'll post the specs.
Reason I'm selling it is I need the money and my desktop serves me fine... plus I'm selling it extremely cheap.
Let me know.

I’ve had the computer for approximately 3 months. I originally purchased it for ~$2,900. This thing is seriously fast...
I’m looking at selling it for somewhere in the neighborhood of $1700. I can probably work with you on that, though. I will be putting the operating system back into its original state (Windows XP Professional, not XP Media Edition that came with the laptop). I will also install Office Professional 2003, Photoshop CS2, Nero 6 Ultra, etc.
I’d have to say the nicest thing about this is the warranty, you really can’t beat it. 4 years parts / service even on nights and weekends, and 4 year complete care on top of that. The complete care covers accidental damage such as dropping, coffee spills, etc. Even if it is 3 years old and you have an accident, Dell will replace it with a model that is equal or greater value than the laptop that got damaged.
Here are the specs:
1.73 GHZ Centrino Processor
nVidia GeForce 6800 256mb Graphics
60GB 7200RPM Hard Disk (rare in a laptop)
1GB DDR2 Ram
Built in WiFi A/B/G, and Built in Bluetooth
8X DVD +/- Dual Layer Burner / CD-R/RW Combo
17 inch Ultra XGA Widescreen
1 FireWire, 6 external USB 2.0 ports
SD Card Slot
PCMCIA Slot
DVI-out
4 year nights / weekends parts and , plus 4 years of complete care (accidental damage coverage)

Have to correct you on the whole Centrino thing... Centrino is not a chip, it is not a technology, but a merely collection of Intel products (a marketing ploy really): Pentium M Processor, Intel Chipset and Intel WiFi card... that's what makes it centrino... sorta pet peeve cause when I worked for IBM and it came out, lots of ppl were asking for Centrino just because when they actually never knew what it was... since then I've been correcting a bunch of people as to what it is.

That's pretty much my exact computer, except yours has a nicer graphics card (mine's a lowly 128mb Radeon 9600 :( ), a larger screen (by 2 inches), and more USB ports. Mine's also an Inspiron 8600 - yours looks like a 9200? Nice computer, though, my best friend here at school recently bought a 9200 and loves it.
