Finally got the gamepad configured (there was a conflict between the gamepad config and the game config). Now I'm struggling with this ridiculously awkward UI. Not much fun, so far, but I'll keep plugging along.

UI is indeed horrible, but you do get used to it. Be patient.

Yea what Elwyn said - I was convinced I'd never get used to it and almost just gave up because of it - but it did finally start sinking in and now it's not so bad afterall. Keep at it - it'll start making more sense.

I almost deleted as well. UI was HARD for me. Then it just all of a sudden clicked.

Ui is easier to get around if you forget you have a mouse and focus on your keypad/gamepad only.

Yeah, Cattie. Now that my gamepad is programmed and working properly, it's not bad.
