Apparently they forgot to tell anybody this, but Stratics IRC is up on port 6668 instead of default 6667. I just logged in before writing this with no issues after banging my head against the wall for four days.

port 6667 on stratics network got closed to them being DDoSed or something.

edit: port 6668 and 7000 works.
