Is any one alse having very slow download speeds with this pile of junk?

Been at 84% for the last 2 hours, and thats only because of the background patcher from other days :(

How ever it wouldn't surprise me if I was the only one having the problem :p

It also went through the first part in about 2 seconds, then got stuck at 83% and doesn't look like it's going anywhere.

Yeah, the stuff that is blazes through I am guessing is what it already download from the background downloader.

I was looking at the connection log and there is a "HTTP Direct Download". No clue what the link is though :(

So I am going through all my old screen shots of WoW and the door bell rings.

My sister goes "Nate its a UPS guy, could you get the door?". My first thought was how lazy could my sister get, I was up stairs and she was already down their, but whatever.

My second thought was, what could it be? Can't be my new DSL Modem from my new ISP, thats coming friday. How ever I couldn't think what else it could be.

So I half run, half walk down the stairs and peer through the side window, the UPS guy had already ran away and I see a "FastAccess DSL" box sitting next to the door.

IT CAME THREE DAYS EARLY!!!! YES!!!!! WOO HAA!!!!

Well going to start setting it up, if all goes well, I should be online with my new ISP with no more gay diconnects!!!

Sounds good! Connections are so annoying. Atleast 1.11 helps with those too so people can return quickly :)

there having slight problems with it cause somany outher wow users are doing the same thing, just refresh every few seconds and you should be able to get into the download.

I had the same problem got stuck at 83% after a few seconds. I went to fileplanet and started to get in the qeue. I am currently 1000/7000. Get in qeue
Anyways once the servers do come up there will be lots of bugs/glitches like when AQ came up and the servers went up and down every minute and stayed down for hours at a time.

Hmmm, sounds like a good excuse to go outside for the day ;) I'll just bide my time for when blizzard gets the downloader working.

Im at 96% using the blizzard downloader... now i guess its just a race against 100% and the time the raid starts in less than 30 minutes :hmm:

I gave in and bought the stupid membership from fileplanet. Amazingly fast downloads :thumbsup: . I also shared it with vaela. If anyone wants to use my account next patch let me know.

Wish they woulda just fed you the entire patch via the background DLer. and then just left out a small file so you couldant patch it , then just send out that file via their downloader.
