Cruicial RAM

Western Digital Raptor Drives

Dell branded, built by nVidia graphics card (theres a sticker on the card).

Motherboard is built by Dell, but to Intel specs.

Sound Blaster Audigy 2 Plat...

Klipsch Speakers....

Dell Flatpanel that uses a Samsung LCD panel

Toshiba DVD ROM and DVD Burner

Intel Pro Gigabit Ethernet

I can keep going....

It's not as "generic" as you think. The fact is that they buy shit by the TON thus having the Wal-Mart effect on the prices. Trust me, I did a huge project on Dell in my Microecon class, they aren't as bad as you think.

If you want generic, go buy an HP or a E-Machines.

edit: If you don't believe me I would be happy to take some internal pics of the parts

Well, yes things are cheaper if you steal them Dard. By that token barring any self-righteous moral opposition you could just steal a Dell, which I'm sure would be massively cheaper.

Authentic Bulgogi Recipe

Ingredients:

* 3 pounds beef, sliced (use very tender cut of beef, like top round)
* 1/2 cup soy sauce
* 1 tablespoon sesame oil
* 1 tablespoon sesame seed
* 1 tablespoon garlic powder
* 1/2 teaspoon ginger powder
* 3 tablespoons granulated sugar, brown sugar, or honey
* 5 green onions, sliced (stems and all)

Directions:

First slice the Roast Beef (in raw form) 1/8th of an inch thick. Once sliced then cut into little bite size chunks . Next place all the ingredients above in a large bowl and mix with large utensil until sugar is disolved. Add a 1/2 a cup of water to your mix, stir and let set for at least 3 hours or overnight This will give the meat a chance to soak in the juices. Last but not least, place your batch of Bulgogi in a pot and cook it at a medium temperature. Do not use any kind of oil in your pot. The ingredients you mixed above will do just fine If you would like your mix a little sweeter, add a little more sugar . If you prefer a saltier taste add some more soy sauce

Wow what have I started :P. Yeah their prices do suck. Bought mine during a holiday sale awhile ago. Made similar pc's on other sites including dell's and it was either equal or slightly more then from alienware. Long story short one of their tech people came to replace a defective power supply and after he did it the pc doesn't start up correctly, all fans and such go but theres no signal going from the pc to the monitor and the loading light stays on. Using an older pc till it gets fixed, it can handle games ok specially WoW just not battlefield 2 which i play most of the time for now
